I turned 29G (as Trevor so kindly calls it) this past Sat. It was not such a short time ago that I had extravagant birthday plans, large dinner parties held in my honor, and would party til the morning light. All that seems to change when you have children. The part I didn't realize is it is so much BETTER! Their little squeals of Happy Birthday, the homemade shell necklaces, the hugs and excitement as they help blow out the candles. It just fills you up. Don't get me wrong-my bottle of wine was chilling and I bamboozled my husband for an hour of extra sleep and an afternoon nap. But, my birthday's are no longer focused on the extra wrinkle (or 2) I seem to be noticing on my face.
Being at the beach with Grammie and Papa is not so bad either. We were able to stay at Carlton Dunes which so happens to be next to the Ritz Carlton. WOW. Just. WOW.
It was Ryders first time on the beach and the first time all adults were able to "sit". No diapers changes, early nap times, baby food jars, or strollers were needed. I felt free as a bird...this had a lot to do with my wonderful in-laws, so I won't kid myself too much :) In all, we made wonderful memories and had a fabulous weekend!!

Love, love, LOVE this post! They are so insanely cute, and all of your pictures from this trip were awesome! Love the one of you with all three on the beach. Sweet, beautiful babies!
