A day with my Valentines!!

"three won't be hard"
"just one more will be easy"
"they will all play together"
"just one more will not be any different"

and my favorite...

"3 under 2 will give you lots of breaks...later on"

Well, I have no hesitation to say I am struggling.  Three is so much harder.  I have days when I just want to buy a cheap one way ticket to the bahamas.  I feel defeated in some way and sad.  I miss the days when I cared about what my hair and outfit looked like before I walked out the door.

***Side note to Hadley, Addison, and Ryder -if you read this blog one day-I love you all.  I prayed for you everyday and I know what I feel is normal.  People do what I do everyday.  So, while I listen to Addison yell for Elmo during nap time, whom I am sure has fallen on the floor, I will keep typing this entry, maybe make some tea, and even sneak in a little DVR before I go to your rescue.

Alas, we do have days like today... when all 3 kids and myself seem to stay in human form.  We laugh together, count trees, pick flowers, swing, and even smile for the camera.  We eat lunch and make Ryder smile with our silly songs.  We read books in big flower hats and make a city of dominoes all over the kitchen floor.  These days are what keep me from calling that taxi to the airport....HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

"HI"!!

Peek-A-Boo...I see you!!

Ellie, I love you and I think you're doing an AMAZING job. What you're doing is bound to be really, really difficult but you are a rock star! Call me if you need anything, or if I can lend you a hand for a few hours to keep you from jumping on that airplane :) xoxo

Hang in there! I feel the same way and mine are 2 1/2 and almost 5. So I can't even begin to compare. But I have felt that same way. Although I am going on a cruise Friday with some friends. We are all leaving the kids and husbands home!!! I can't wait to be selfish and think of me, me, me!
