The Crib Tester

I am sure Cooper is just testing out the crib. He gets kicked out of it a lot, but I think he is just excited about his new sisters.

One more note, baby B had the hiccups last night that I felt for the first time!

28 Weeks

28 Weeks!

Not too much longer! Trevor has finished hanging some pictures in the nursery and has assembled all the baby gadgets x 2! He has even slept through air conditioned nights when it is 30 degrees outside, listen to me complain at 1am, and still has patience to drive me to Babies R Us when I freak out we do not have enough baby wipes or blankets...what a great dad he will be!

Bunko and Church Group shower

This is the most impressive cake!! Jessica R. MADE it!! It was strawberry cake and she made the fondant and decorations. Trevor LOVED the top that I took home for him~he did not even get a plate! I was not very good with the camera, but Lisa is going to forward some more pics. for me to post! Addison and Hadley got their pack-n-play, high chairs, bouncy seats, and even some bottles!! (and more clothes) I am so excited for their arrival!

Pleasantdale Shower

I have made some of my best friends at work. I miss them every day! All the little details were so perfect! Thank you Kellie, Denni, Sara, Pam, and Sarah!! I think back to my wedding shower the same group of friends threw for me and realize how we have all been there for each other during every phase a life during the past 1o years. We still act like we are in college...which is the best part!! :)

Pleasantdale Shower

My mom and Katie came in town for the most wonderful baby showers. Luckily, while they were here I convinced them to help me clean all the clothes in the nursery, wash and iron the bedding, straighten books, and overall help in the nursery. They even COOKED for me! I am very lucky!

Baby Shower

This was such a beautiful baby shower at Tierney's house. It was so good to see all my friends from AU, my mom & sister, and Grandma Toni (who made the most beautiful "Tree of Life" afghan). I had so much fun! Hadley and Addison will be the best dressed babies on the block!!

27 week ultrasound

Baby B's foot...wow...I thought I had big feet. It was a little relief to finally know what has been poking me in the rib the last couple of weeks :) She weights 2.6 pounds right now and the Dr. says she looks perfect!

This is Baby A's head at 27 weeks. Baby A received a raving report and weights 2.4 pounds!

Well, if I could sum up today in one word:Bittersweet!

My doctor has put me on somewhat of a stricted schedule. The babies are fine, but he does not want me going back to work. He said it will cause less stress for the babies and prevent hospital time later. I have been at Pleasantdale for 10 years and it was very hard for me to leave. I will miss teaching and miss the students, but most of all I will miss the other teachers. They have become like family to me. I just have to think forward to my next job...being a mom!!
