Daddy's Work Outfits

OK...I have to admit that I opened this gift a little before December 25th. The beautiful wrapped gifts stayed under the tree for about an hour, but I have no regrets opening them early. My mom, I guess, felt kind of bad for Trevor about all the PINK that would be entering the house. She sent these overalls (notice the tools in the pockets) and HOMEMADE booties. Trevor loved it...and the HomeDepot gift cards stuffed in the pockets :) Thanks mom!!

A Baby Christmas!!

Well, Addison and Hadley had a wonderful Christmas!! Grandma and Grandpa Burns bought us a glider for the nursery and some of the cutest outfits and booties (that she made...I will post later). Grandma and Grandpa Pitt got them a car seat, stroller frame, and base for the car! I am sure they will be glad to be mobile and we will be glad to be able to take them home from the hospital when the time comes! Molly and Clark got us a baby carrier and a pictures frame that says, "Two Peas in a Pod". Auntie Katie made sure their little tootsies will stay warm with sox and Nike shoes.
Needless to say, we are so excited and can not believe all the stuff these two have already!! I am in the process of picking out paint colors for the nursery. My mom will be here in 2 weeks to paint the room and help decorate. The doctors say everything is looking good. They are each 1lbs.7oz. right now. I am finding it more difficult to bend down and finish the day without a nap. My shopping trips and energy level are getting shorter, so I am trying to take it easy. They are kicking up a storm in my tummy, which I love!! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

Sunday Dinner at The Pitt's

Molly and Clark came in town for Christmas! It was so good to see them! Toni and Robert invited all of us up to their house for dinner (She is the best cook)!!
We learned some English Christmas traditions, one of which is opening "crackers" during dessert...hence the paper hats! We are all headed to Christmas Eve service on Wednesday and then Trevor and I are going to spend the night at his parents house. We have so much to be thankful for this year!

I just had to post this picture. What V.I.P service for a parking spot. I think Atlanta should have these all over the place...at least until March :)

Tummy Shot and Closet Organizers

Week: 21

Feeling: heavy

Mood: good

Trevor has battled the baby closet and finally won by a long shot! After a trip to Home Depot and then back again for the return, we finally went to Container Store. The baby girls have 8 draws, 4 hanging racks, and wrap around shelves! I am learning that space is great with twins! I felt useless in the help because no one will let me carry anything weighing more than a large pillow...kind of frustrating, but I LOVE the closet!! I am feeling much better...no more sickness spells...YEAH!! I now wake in the middle of the night making lists of things we need to do, cleaning out draws, and searching the internet for deals on baby bedding, and looking for cars that will fit all 4 of us plus our stuff...very weird, I know:)

We are headed to Grove Park Inn this weekend. I am so excited! I have scheduled a Mom's Massage and even a Stone massage for Trevor...he worked hard on those closets!

We took a tour of the hospital yesterday. They informed us of the admission process and where to go when the time is right. I can not help but get more excited! Each baby weighs about 1 pound at the moment and received a "normal" in all areas of their development. Back to the Dr. in 3 weeks for another check up...More than half way there!!
